Η εταιρεία EyeFi που προσπαθεί να διευκολύνει τους χρήστες ψηφιακών φωτογραφικών μηχανών να αποθηκεύουν,να πλοηγούνται και να μοιράζονται τις ψηφιακές φωτογραφικές τους αναμνήσεις, ανακοίνωσε την πρώτη ασύρματη SD κάρτα για ψηφιακές μηχανές.Η κάρτα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί στα οικιακά Wifi δίκτυα και να δημιουργήσει ένα αξιόπιστο τρόπο για τους χρήστες να στέλνουν φωτογραφίες από την ψηφαική μηχανή στο PC,Macs και στο διαδίκτυο.

Η εκδοση των 2GB κοστιζει $100, αλλα λαμβανοντας υπ’οψιν οτι η συσκευη αυτη χρησιμοποιειται οχι για αποθηκευση φωτογραφιων αλλα για την ευκολη μεταφορα τους ειναι λογικη τιμη.
